Sree Narayana English Medium School is a premier educational Institution run by Sree Narayana Charitable Trust, established and registered under Society Act XXI of 1860,at Chekkikulam during 2002. The Trust aims to uplift the society as a whole in the educational sphere. Sree Narayana English Medium School is intended to enable `the pupils to keep pace with all the latest developments of the modern world without losing their moral and virtuous calibre. The School is following CBSE Syllabus recognized by the central government and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Sree Narayana English Medium School has also been recognized by the Govt.of Kerala. The school is located on a picturesque landscape 15km away from Kannur on the Chekkikkulam-Nayattupara road and is well connected to the city.

    The Management Consortium of College of Commerce, Kannur and Concord Arts & Science College and Concord Public School, Muttannur, with more than three decades of rich experience in the field of education, has decided to take over the reins of this institution, from the academic year 2018-19 onwards. We are guided by our deep-rooted conviction that education is the foundation of a civilized society which is the greatest asset contributing to the development of the society and the nation. The managing committee consists of a group of far sighted philanthropic non-resident Keralites and entrepreneurs in the field of education who are ever sensitive to the changing demographics of the region and share a vision to transform the school into a centre of academic excellence on par with global institutions.

  • PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION

    Admission procedure is based on CBSE guidelines and will be open on availability of vacancies in different categories. Registration for admission to LKG to IX usually opens in the month of February/March.

    Registration form and prospectus may be collected from the school office during working hours against payment. Parent/Guardian should fill in the registration form with utmost care and submit the same to the office. For admission to pre-primary classes, prescribed age limits will be applicable. Birth certificate in original should be produced for admission to LKG.

    PAYMENT OF FEE

    Tuition fee for an academic year will be collected in three equal instalments in June, September and January. Tuition fee may be paid without fine until the 5th of the month in which it is due. Fee receipts are to be kept safely by the parents and produced when required by the school authorities. Bus fee will be collected monthly, in advance.

    PARENT TEACHER MEETING

    Parent-teacher meetings will be conducted periodically to review the pupil’s performance in the presence of the Principal, parents, and subject teachers. Mutual discussions between parents and teachers/principal in a cordial atmosphere will ultimately help to improve the overall performance of the school through collective efforts of all stakeholders. Parents are requested to actively participate in all the parent-teacher meetings and contribute, rather than disturb the teachers during regular school hours. However, they may meet the teachers on all working days between 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm.

    GENERAL INSTRUCTION

    1. Pupils should follow the discipline of the school in all respects. Parents are requested to co-operate.
    2. Pupils should keep their class rooms neat and clean. All waste should be segregated and deposited in the respective dust bins.
    3. The school is a plastic free zone. Plastic carry bags and disposables are strictly prohibited
    4. Pupils are expected to maintain silence in the class room and behave courteously to teachers and other staff.
    5. Parents should ensure participation of their wards in all the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities conducted by the school for developing their personalities.
    6. Parents are requested not to send their pupils to school in case of infectious diseases
    7. Parents should go through the school diary of their ward daily and respond to the communication sent by the class teacher.

    The school timings will be from 9.30 am to 3.45 pm on all working days

    DRESS CODE

    1. A dress code encourages students to express their individuality through personality and academic achievements, not outward appearances
    2. The pupils should come to the school in the full complement of uniform prescribed by the school. The uniform should be clean and pressed.
    3. Only the uniform materials supplied by the school should be used. The stitching pattern will also conform to the sample shown to the parents.Shoes must be clean and neatly polished.Pupils are expected to maintain silence in the class room and behave courteously to teachers and other staff.
    4. Parents are requested not to send their childern wearing gold ornaments or carrying unnecessary
    5. valuables.Mangement will not be responsilbe for the loss of such belongings.
    6. Parents should go through the school diary of their ward daily and respond to the communication sent by the class teacher.
